iGEMiGEM國際基因工程機器大賽,是一項面向大學生以及高中生的全球性科研競賽。它由麻省理工學院于2003年發(fā)起,旨在推動合成生物學的發(fā)展和應用。每年,來自世界各地的數(shù)百支學生團隊會設計并構建自己的生物系統(tǒng),以解決現(xiàn)實世界中的問題。競賽強調(diào)團隊合作、創(chuàng)新思維和科學交流,最終在年度的國際會議上展示他們的項目成果。The iGEM International Genetically Engineered Machine Competition is a global scientific research competition for university and high school students. Founded by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2003, the competition aims to promote the development and application of synthetic biology. Every year, hundreds of student teams from around the world design and build their own biological systems to solve real-world problems. The competition emphasizes teamwork, innovative thinking, and scientific communication, with each team showcasing their project results at the annual international conference.
我校11年級的三位同學吳霄霖,陳胥心,胡博參與的WFL-HangzhouBay團隊,在競賽中表現(xiàn)卓越,從全球130支高中組隊伍中脫穎而出,榮獲金獎,并榮獲Best new improved part單項獎提名,榮登國際合成生物學競賽的最高領獎臺。Our school's 11th-grade students, Wu Xiaolin, Chen Xuxin, and Hu Bo, represented the WFL-HangzhouBay team, standing out from 130 high school teams worldwide to win the gold medal and the “Best New Improved Part” nomination, reaching the highest platform in the international synthetic biology competition.
耀眼成果背后離不開無數(shù)的努力,在長達近一年多的研究過程中,三位同學與團隊成員聚焦對高產(chǎn)透明質(zhì)酸酶酵母細胞的構建,歷經(jīng)無數(shù)次的實驗、調(diào)研與訪談,成功設計了能夠表達水蛭源-透明質(zhì)酸酶的畢赤酵母菌株,為拓寬透明質(zhì)酸酶的生產(chǎn)宿主,提高產(chǎn)量,降低生產(chǎn)成本,助力相關醫(yī)藥健康事業(yè)提供了解決方案。Behind these remarkable achievements lies countless hours of hard work. Over nearly a year of research, the three students and their team focused on constructing high-yield hyaluronidase yeast cells. Through numerous experiments, research, and interviews, they successfully designed a Pichia pastoris strain capable of expressing leech-derived hyaluronidase. This innovation provides a solution for expanding hyaluronidase production hosts, increasing yields, reducing production costs, and supporting the related medical and health industries.

我與我的小組成員一起設計了實驗的詳細步驟,并和他們一起完成了實驗。我們分析實驗數(shù)據(jù),為下一步的實驗制定計劃。I worked with my group members and developed the steps of the experiment. And completed the experiment with my lab partners, and then we used the experimental data to develop a plan for the next experiment.

在實驗期間,我與團隊成員一起集思廣益,制定并執(zhí)行實驗策略。例如,混合不同類型的溶液并將它們放入特殊設備中,觀察不同的現(xiàn)象并與其他成員一起分析結果。我還負責撰寫了關于這個實驗的詳細安全預防措施和設備的使用。During the experiment, I worked with the members of the team, brain storming the strategies to carry out the experiment. For example, mixing up different types of solutions and putting them into special apparatuses; watching the different phenomenons and analyzing the results with other members. I wrote about the detailed safety precautions for this experiment and about the using of the apparatuses.

我和我的團隊成員對透明質(zhì)酸酶進行了市場調(diào)研,采訪了相關專家,對產(chǎn)品進行了視頻和在線推廣,分析了市場前景,并開展了演講、稿件撰寫、產(chǎn)品設計、募款等工作。
