Mr. William Vanbergen introduced to the attendees that WAS incorporates the essence of both Chinese and Western cultures, offering 20 to 30 different A-Level course options. International students studying at WAS will have the opportunities to sail towards renowned universities worldwide or apply for top Chinese universities such as Tsinghua and Peking University.

As an international bilingual school in China, WAS recognizes its responsibility in promoting the dissemination of Chinese excellent traditional culture. The establishment of the "Belt and Road" Scholarship by Mr. William Vanbergen is rooted in a deeper understanding. He shared that geopolitical tensions between countries are increasing for various reasons, making it even more important to create opportunities for the next generation to enhance cultural exchange and mutual understanding. Among these students, there will be future business elites, political leaders, and outstanding individuals from various fields. They will be ambassadors of peace and harmony, spreading their roots around the world and promoting cultural exchanges, business, and cooperation in various fields among different countries.
英雄所見略同，在開幕式當(dāng)天的專家論壇上，馬來西亞駐華大使館教育處參贊穆罕默德·沙烈胡丁也提倡各大高校向各國學(xué)子提供獎學(xué)金支持，鼓勵來華留學(xué)。這些學(xué)子將帶著本國文化融入到中國文化之中，可以減少摩擦誤會，增進(jìn)文化認(rèn)同。在未來，他們會成為一個個友誼的代表，架設(shè)起國與國之間外交與合作的橋梁。
Great minds think alike, during the Panel Discussion on the opening day, Mohamed Sharil Bin Mohamed Shamsudin, Education Counselor of the Malaysian Embassy in China, also advocated for major universities to provide scholarship support to students from various countries, encouraging them to study in China. These students will integrate their own cultures into Chinese culture, reducing friction and misunderstandings while promoting cultural understanding. In the future, they will become representatives of friendship, bridging diplomacy and cooperation between nations.

一帶一路非中國籍留學(xué)生
Non-Chinese students studying in the Belt and Road Initiative
16-17周歲，計劃于2023年9月入學(xué)就讀G11，學(xué)習(xí)A-Level課程
16-17 years old, plan to enroll in G11 in September 2023 and study A-Level courses.
中學(xué)階段學(xué)習(xí)成績及英語水平優(yōu)異
Excellent academic performance and English proficiency in middle school.
申請者有目標(biāo)、有計劃進(jìn)入歐美頂尖高?；蛑袊敿飧咝Ｇ髮W(xué)
Applicants have goals and plans to study in top European and American universitites or top Chinese universities
獎學(xué)金額度：
Scholarship Amount:
包含全額學(xué)費(fèi)、拓展教育費(fèi)、住宿費(fèi)、餐費(fèi)和校服費(fèi)，以及每學(xué)年一套從家到校的往返機(jī)票
Including full tuition, extended education, boarding, meal and uniform fee, as well as a round trip air ticket from home to school every academic year.
